can you see the dvd-drive contents... like full contents from a original game... not just the video-ts folder or whatever?

I have a success story for 4817.  Numerous people on IRC get credit for this one.  

I started out with Mechassault and Action Replay.  Then FTP'd in and copied complex loader 1.0FX, replaced the font files with "reloaded" versions and added 2 fixes (LED and kernel).  Then downloaded EvolutionX_V1_8_3752.rar and extracted it to C: also.  

You should now load to Complex Loader upon booting.  When you hit the white button, you will be in EvoX with most, if not all features enabled.  I was able to finally run a backup from the hard drive on my 4817 kernel and homebrew apps too!

what about the contents of the dvd-rom?? Also without doing the loader i also could play backups on my HD.

My story: Kernel 4817, Dashboard 4817 !!(Don't have any live games yet ....)
Hack: Bert & Ernie Reloaded, with Evox(from Phoenix package) booting. From there i can start !Loader 1.0 FX with  the new dll for v1.1 Boxes.
It seems to work fine, I use !Loader to launch non-signed apps such as XBMP, and Evox to change & view system settings.

The only issue I encountered so far is with the Drive F. It seems as if F: is full when i ftp to the box.
Could this be because i use Dashboard 4817 instead of 4920? If Yes, what do you think about the following propositions:
 
To update I just overwrite the xbedash.xbe with a 4920 version (with ftp)................. ?
or i copy & launch dashupdate.xbe ?

if something goes wrong, I'm still able to boot 007 right ?!?

Are you able to copy a original disc on drive D to your harddisk?

The problem why you cant access the F: partition is because if you have an original HD on your xbox I.E the one it came with, Then you cant use your F: partition

How do you view/copy a DVD?  

I'm running !Loader 1.00FX > Evox on a 4920 kernel and can launch movies and games (original, copied (as-is, not signed for the font hack)) from my DVD drive fine..

Use XCommander or BoxPlorer... And by the way, which dash is your box running?
