Title: Red Led Flashing

I have a 1.4v xbox with the xchip and m8 bios installed.  Unit had been working fine for several weeks, but now when i power it on all i get is a red flashing led with no video or sound.

I've tried readjusting solderless connector, tightening pins, checking d0 connection but nothing changes.

I also found a xbox repair guide that says something about a broken trace and to solder wire on back of board for reset, but it didn't work either.

i couldn't fine much in forums on this problem so i posted

any help would be appreciated

the problem appears that the eeprom some how got corrupted. once i replaced it, the unit worked fine.

thought i'd post for reference

I had the same problem you had..

whats the eeprom?
