As it seems that many seem to claim a fix to the clock problem with reloaded fonts, and since those who use the stock fonts can usually get out of the endless loop after several reboots, it appears that the clock problem is slowly dying down (kinda like the anticlimatic morning on Y2K...)
So here is the next project.
Can anyone explain WHY ON EARTH the XBOX would reset each time you press a button on the DVD remote while watching movies?
I at first thought that the correct font files must be needed to make the DVD remote work, but Kraken's method actually uses the stock fonts, and the DVD player will play even if you DELETE the xboxdash allrogether. Thus, DVD does NOT need the MSDASH to work.
It appears that the DVD player on the C drive somehow is affected by this exploit, although I sure can't think of how it could be.
Why should any of this affect the DVD player in any way?

And, no, reloaded fonts do NOT fix the remote problem. I just tried them.

I see. So it must be another thing that is kernal specific, since it definately does not work on my 4977 kernal.

My mistake. Using the procedure I wrote in my last post will not work. Here is what I do:
1. Start X-Box without DVD in drive.
2. Wait for Evox to be loaded (autoloaded by Complex Loader)
3. Insert DVD
4. Wait for Evox to recognize disc (it says D: Video)
5. Start MS Dasboard (*.XFT patched as in Krakens method)
or
Choose "Launch DVD" from Evox (Should be same as starting MS Dashboard).
(evox.ini is set up with c:msxboxdash.xbe as both MS-Dashboard and default DVD-Player.)
This works every time for me. I can use the remote just as normal, and can even access the MS-Dash settings menu and jump back to continue playing. Hope it might be working for some others too...
However, if I start MS Dashboard before Evox has recognized the DVD, X-Box will reset when I use the remote.
