at the bottom you have the uu-file:
starting with "begin-base64 644 dayX.tgz"
ending with "===="
copy paste that in notepad and save it as free-x.uu
Get uudecode (most linux distro have it standard, or you can also you a win32 version of uudecode (search google)).
That will give you a dayX.tgz file
you can un-tgz that with winrar (win32) or with tar (linux).
Then you have the 2 font files and the linux xbe. With the saved game trick (you need an original version of 007:auf or Mech Assult and a USB memcard) you can upload these 3 files to your xbox like specified in the press-release.
note: for now it's just to run linux ... but the information is released and it will soon be possible to use it to rum homebrew programs. (needs more kernel patching ... complex' !Loader v1.0 is the first example for some kernel patching (evox2.2 features and only works on xboxes with 3933/4043 kernels))

...do people not realize this will ultimately HURT the xbox in the end... they get a few cheap laughs now... but when their are no more games left for the console... what r u gonna do then?

ill be so happy just to run 9000 snes/gen/nes/neo-geo/etc games and linux even if i never play another xbox game on xbox

Apple, that is one evil company! Sure their computers are cute, but comon, a one button mouse?
I used to be anti-MS but after they made the XB, I love em!
SONY is worse, it basically monopolizes the game market here in Japan, I wouldnt doubt it if they have a hand in slowing down the XB games coming to Japan. Like we onely have 50 game shere compared to the almost 300 you have in the States...

Watch the nerd crap.
Just because people have a preference to what they use/do, doesn't make it crap.
And also, as stated before this is just the beginning. Soon, evox, and backed up games will work without the use of the modchip anymore, just give it time.

Copy over using Mega X-key and the Xbox-saves manager.
Have a LEGAL WORKING COPY of 007:AUF
Load the Save game in 007, enjoy.
