Hi. I've been trying to softmod my Xbox and have been following many tutorials. I purchased a copy of Splinter Cell (was hoping for original label, but it was the platinum hits version) alongside a memory card with the files supposedly already on it.
I haven't got a lot of experience with soft mod by game save, but did you have a previous save on there before? when i google this and others have the same problem, that's what they are usually finding to resolve it. Delete all Splinter Cell game save files and you re-copy them over, take out the memory card so it's loading from the HDD directly and try it again
try deleting it all and trying again. the error you are getting is an error loading the dash board (from the game save) and then it reboots.
at this point i would get some different files. Fallen Angel posts pretty frequently here and has a lot more soft mod experience than i do. when i soft mod I almost always hot swap.
