Hey, I'm trying to hack my friends X-BOX using the tutorial I used on mine. (Splinter Cell gamesave exploit) However, it seems to be a very old version of how to do it, and it also makes the MS Dash unusable, even though I backed up mine: Lifehacker - Transform Your Classic Xbox into a Killer Media Center
And it makes no mention of Krayzie or anything like that. What is the latest way to softmod using the Splinter Cell, WITHOUT any FTP capabilities. He doesn't know how to use it, plus it isn't connected to the internet (neither was mine), I just used a hacked together xbox-to-female USB cord to transfer files, or Data DVDs.
So what I'm asking, in a nutshell: What is the latest way to hack the XBOX using Splinter Cell, without FTP, for I have many DVDs at my disposal.
EDIT: The installer that I use seems to be the Softmod Installer Deluxe 2.0, which i believe 5.1 is out... Wow that is old.

- Splinter Cell
- Krayzie NDURE 1.1.1
- a memory stick with an Xbox USB adapter, or an Xbox MU with either an AR adapter or an Xbox controller with a USB male connector
- Xplorer360 beta 6 or AR to copy the gamesaves to the memory device
- If your dash is lower than 5960, a post 2004 live-enabled game (Halo 2 or later) to update the dash to 5960

Thanks!
I'm just going to transfer the Krayzie save file to MY Xbox and put it on the memory card which I will get from my friend on Monday. Then instruct him using this tutorial: Se7ensins - How to Softmod with Krayzie's Ndure Installer 1.1.1
Sound good?

Sounds exactly right - but expect the link to be removed (it links on to copyright files).

Its been on the site since 2008, so maybe not. I already got the package though, and saved the page.

No, I mean expect your link to be removed from this thread! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Oh okay! Sorry, I was a bit confused. I would do it myself, but I can't seem to find the edit button. Sorry about that. Thanks for help though!
