Title: Using Friend's Pre-modded Xbox To Get Gamesave?

I have an xbox i want to softmod. I'm wondering if I can get the necessary gamesave from my friend's pre-modded xbox using a regular xbox memory card. I've heard you can but I'm not sure how. I assume I'd just transfer the exploit gamesave onto my memory card....is there a way to do that?

Thanks in advance, I researched but couldn't find exact information on this issue.
