Title: Confused About Booting From Backups

Apparently it will boot from the Slayer's CD. All logic and previous posts say it isn't supposed to. I have had one boot also and it mystified me.

it's very normal for a softmodded xbox to boot backups. When a backup is in the drive the xbox tries to read it but can't (retail bios) and then proceeds to load the dashboard along with the exploit. It then depends on the softmod wether it is set to boot from dvd or hd. Most current softmods always boot from dvd first.
