If you only want to play back up disks, it shouldn't be a problem. You will need to boot the Xbox to a dashboard though. If you are running the softmod, just let it install Evox as a dash. From there you can run the games from the DVD.

If you want a stripped down version of Evox, you can go through the Evox.ini file and take out what you don't need. I have made kid proof menus so that they can only play games, DVDs, reboot or shut down the system.

As I have no idea what im doing  
should I use the nkpatcher or the pbl
Single boot right >?<
Told ya im a total noob.   I just don't want to screw it up & have to chip it.
