Title: Large 320g Drive With Softmod Problems
Post by: krayzie on August 20, 2007, 11:42:00 AM
lba48 support has been featured for ages in the softmod scene. Anyone who says hds cannot be larger then 137 Gb with softmods talk crap.

The only thing to be aware of is that it may be wiser to set a separate F and G drive since partitions larger then 254 GB cause data to get corrupted. Another fix for this would be to format with another cluster size using xbpartitioner

uxe is just an exploit. it has nothing to do with LBA 48 support. It depends on the bios patcher/loader wether lba48 is supported or not.
