Hi, I just modded a blokes Xbox with Krayzies brilliant installer. The console had a really old dash version so i did the minimum install thinking that later i would update to 5960 with the extras disc. Unfortunately i got distracted and totally forgot to update his dash. I'm just wondering, if he cold boots a retail game with an an auto dash update installed, will it kill the softmod? I know that when cold booting a retail game the shadow C is no longer protecting real C. I've read up alot but can't find a definitive answer.
