Title: Black Flickering Screen With Component Cables After Softmod

I used SID4 to softmod my system and everything works fine except when I use component cables I just get a black screen with flickering lines flickering down it after the xbox splash screen. S-vid and composite are fine, I've tried several different dashboards, evolution x, xbmc and one I can't think of. Anyone know what causes this?
