So I put the sid4 installer and splinter cell gamesave on the action replay card, then loaded them onto my xbox HD. I put the splinter cell game into the xbox, load the gamesave named "Linux" then select checkpoints. It says in the manual that it takes 15-20 seconds for the softmod to load, but it doesnt. It just stays frozen on the checkpoint screen. Did I miss a step? I know my splinter cell version works because I read some of the other threads, and I'm pretty sure my ms dashboard is the most up to date one. (I read that halo 2 installs it for you) Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? (I'm pretty sure my xbox isnt a 1.6 cuz I bought it 4 months after it first came out)
EDIT: NVM, YOU CAN DELETE THIS THREAD. I just did a search and found out that the xbox live levels you download make the exploit not work. I deleted them and was able to get to the softmod boot screen.
