Title: Splinter Cell Gamesave Tutorial

Okay, so I just got my XBOX softmodded and I spend so much time reading.
I would like to make it a little easier for everyone.


SUPPLIES:

• WinRAR (http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar361.exe)
• ActionReplay XBOX install (http://us.codejunkies.com/downloads/ActionReplayforXbox(USEnglish1_05).exe)
• Action Replay or something like a M$ memory card. (See vintage_guitar's tutorial for help on using a MS or someother memory unit besides AR at:http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?act=ST&f=44&t=79198)

Step 1: Get this install from the "usual places"
/XBOX/Console Based Applications/exploits/_Packages/Krayzie Ndure Installer/Krayzie_SC-NTSC_Ndure_Installer_v1.1.rar OR Krayzie_SC-PAL_Ndure_Installer_v1.1.rar
depending on where you live. US = NTSC Euro = PAL

Step 2: After you download the RAR file use WinRAR to open it. Extract the contents and open the extracted folder. Then you should see

SC Save 1/udata.zip
and
SC Save 2/udata.zip

Step 3: Open ActionReplay software with memory unit connected and copy BOTH udata.zip s' to the memory unit.

Step 4: Boot to the Xbox dash and copy the saves to the Xbox's HD and load the Splinter Cell.

Step 5: From there select the profile (Xbox Linux) or something like that.))

From there on it is pretty self explanitory.

Also, this tut is pretty much based on the readme.txt so make sure if your having problems to read the readme.txt

If you go into the settings eventually it will sign an IP address. (Ex. mine is "192.168.2.6")
You may log in to it using an FTP program of My Network Places.
I myself use the Network places.

To set that up go to:
Start -> My Network Places -> Add a network place -> Next -> Next -> ftp://IPHERE (Ex ftp://192.168.2.6) -> Next -> Uncheck "Login annonymous" and type "xbox" in login -> Next -> Type a network name (Ex. XBOX) -> Next -> Lastly your password (Ex. xbox)

pretty basic tutorial but the process is indeed a bit basic. There are however more variations possible like transfering the saves via other modded xboxes or the use of mechassault or 007 auf instead of splinter cell. in the end it's all the same deal ofcourse.

I prefer SC exploit, cause any version of that game disc will work, 007 auf is 2nd best, MA last.
