Hi
Recently i made a homebrew xbox to female usb lead. It works by connecting to the xbox port and then going straight to the female usb and into my thumdrive. It seems to work well as the xbox recognises it and lets me use it.
However when i plug it into the pc it recognizses it as a raw mass storage device. I changed the action replay driver IDVendor and IDProduct codes to my thumdrives and replugged it in. However widnows automaatically recognises it and when i go to install the action replay drivers it says that it conatins no infomation about the product.
How am i meant to get Action Replay to recognise my drive?
NOTE: The AR tray icon says when hovered over, "the usb drive failed to enumerate"
did same thing 4 months ago (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) haha its kinda funny...i was at same position..
Use the hacked MegaXKey software...it installs adriver that reconizes a bunch of fatX devices...and it worked perfectsly for me...
its called Mxm_BxBx
i was stupid then and searched 2 days for this software...i ended up signing up on a private forum...and yea...anyway...what do i kno...it was on xbox scene tools page, with a convinient download link (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
go to tools on the xs homepage, then orig>gamesave/managers and looky for ">> MXM_BxBx" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
try it out and tell us if it works for ya
btw, i also used the original mega x key software, after i got the hacked version..not sure why but that the only way it worked....
hope it helped! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)
