ive seen on a couple sites that the xbox v1.6 is not able to install linux with mechassault. i know theres prolly a topic here with the same question many of times and im sorry for posting this. i just wanna know if it is possible to install linux on my xbox even though its v1.6 and without puting a modchip in it.

Oh yeah you deffinetly can soft mod it!

I have a 1.6 and its been softmodded for over a year now.

Click the usual places link in my Sig..Go there and get Krayzies NDure for MA,007,Splintercell

And if youve got mechassault make sure its a exploitable version Click me!

hey man thanks for your help ill be softmodding my xbox hopfully today and ill make sure i use that installer cuz ive been hearing nothing but good things about it thanks again
