even without the SC1 gamesave uploaded, the xbox refused to load the SC1 game..
sound to me if either the xbox or the discs are a big piece of crap.

but is it difficult to believe that "they" actually got smart?
Uhm yeah.....I find that very difficult to believe. The flaws are inside the games. This is not fixable through new kernels (which aren't even reported existing) and certainly not through dashupdates (which are not reported existing also).
Also it makes absolutely no sense the game doesn't even load without an exploited gamesave. Like they would stop people playing certain games just because some people like to mod their xboxes.
Let me ask you: Is it dificult to believe the games not loading have another cause than imeditately asuming MS all of the sudden have a magical way of sensing there is a faulty save present and then stops functioning properly?

my gut feel is that thru their latest dash update , they prevent these exploitable games from loading.... prompting the msg on the screen to ask the user to call for service...
upon which, they will recall the game and give an updated version [ collectors edition aka non exploitable SC1 or MA1 ]
A wild guess..
Again a dashupdate has no effect whatsoever on what games to and not to load. The dashboard is completely bypassed when a game is coldbooted.
