Title: Help Installing Softmod Hdd

I installed a soft mod for a friend of mine, it was my first and I made tons of mistakes, but I managed to successfull softmod it. I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction of a tutorial that would help me successfully install a 30gb hd in a softmodded xbox using another xbox that has x3chip already installed. I also have a cd with slayers evox 2.6 on it. I have the eeprom backed up to my computer hard drive.

boot the disk in the modded xbox,
set it up using the slayer disc,
use config magic to lock it with the correct eeprom.

I use the config magic on the slaters disc, correct? Sorry, I just want to make sure cause I take the warnings very seriously.

im not sure if the slayers comes with config magic,  best download it and make sure
