Has anyone here seriously successfully hotswapped? I can't figure it out. I'm using xboxhdm and everytime it boots it gives me "DiskReady SeekComplete Error" and "DriveStatusError" then it times out and finishes booting but of course when I type UDE it doesn't find the drive. Does this just mean its no unlocked? When does it unlock? Is there a specific time I should swap it after the xbox is on? Thanks.

ok sorry bout that last post. that was out of frustration and I apologize. I read in another post that the video cord needs to be plugged in but earlier I didn't see that in any guide. However I have another question. Xboxhdm finished but at the end said it couldn't find the original fonts in the fonts folder and that it could install a patched dashboard without em or something. What does that mean? Does that simply mean that I got it unlocked but that xboxhdm couldn't do anything? What I actually need to do to simply get the box to work is to get some kind of xboxdash.xbe on it. See the reason I'm locked out is because somehow that file got deleted. Can I replace that with xboxhdm? thanks.

if you include the fonts folder on your xboxhdm disc then yes you can recover those files
