Title: Softmod For Halo 2 Online

I would like to softmod my xbox with use online on halo 2 (not really for matchmaking). Ive got action replay max and splinter cell. I have the file splinter_cell_exploit-ntsc and i have zipped the files appropriately but when i try to load it with AR it tells me the files are not valid xbox saves. PLEASE HELP! Deep instructions would be appreciated. Thanks

I'll be glad to help you cheat on xbox live!  Did you know water is a very powerful softmodding tool?  The more water you use to mod, the more you can pwn those non cheating noobs on xbox live.  I suggest filling up a bathtub of the best softmodding water, and when playing on LIVE, just soak your xbox, you can actually see the hacks start to unfairly help you win!  And I heard if you get in the bathtub with your xbox, you will be unstopable on the path to totally being a cheating bitch!

EDIT: If you mess up doing this, just phone M$ and tell them how you were trying to mod, I heard the're REAL understanding.

Custom games would be fun using mods dude. I dont want an illegitimate matchmaking score. But thanks for the water tip i'll try that out. I read those instructions (i think the same as you speak of) but it did not work for out for me. I got the message as i posted when i tried the xfer.

Dont give me that, sure you'll try custom games at first, but then you'll just 'try' matchmaking to see how it is to have an advantage.  CHEATING IS GAY AND STUPID! I'm seriously pissed about cheating on a PAID SERVICE.  It's childish and stupid.  Then I bet you'll be one of those kids to start cheating to 'get those hackers back'! dont even try that shit with me.  Just because you can mod doesnt mean you hafta cheat.  Guess what? I can mod Halo2, and I WOULD NEVER F-UP someone elses fun to be 'all awsome and shit' so just dont ask, and if you must, learn it on your own time, I hope you get banned.

If you cheat you can just bend over an take for all I care. Im sure there's a big guy named Bubba at your local prison that can help you with that.  Just don't cheat.

Cheating is just wrong if you go on servers with noobs you need to at least give them a break. XboX Live is made to ban cheaters like you and i hope you get your whole account banned.

put the whole zip file into Action Replay

there's 2 .zip files for Splinter Cell, one at a time

most people make the mistake of unzipping before transferring to Action Replay

account? no his actual xbox will get banned as i softmodded mine just for xbmc purposes and i dont have and hacks on it. i went to the ms dashboard and it tried to log onto live and i got banned. it sucked but i can still use xlink

Cheating or not, softmodding is very well documented.  Read the tutorials and FAQs, they'll help you and tell you that an AR card will often corrupt the saves.

If you need to ask for help, don't open up the can of worms you just did by bringing Halo 2 into the issue.
