read in the xbox live forums.. there are ways to tell if its network related or ban.

You have to set the IP back to automatic before signing into Live.

if you are getting the troubleshooter screen then you are

A. not coldbooting a retail game
or
B. trying to sign in through your MS dash

you need to coldboot a retail game if you're trying to sign into live so your retail bios is used instead of your alternate bios.

you can't sign into xbox live through your MS dash because to get to the MS dash, you have to load it from your alternate dash which means that your alternate bios is being used instead of your retail one. If you want to sign into live on your MS dash, remove or turn off your softmod

By turning off, you just boot with the game i bought from the CD.?

When I do coldboot and try to sign onto live, I keep getting sent to Trouble Shooter... Well, your xbox needs repair 21.

Well, I connected to live In PGR2, but In halo 2, when i put it my passcode, it just does nothing...
