you can eject the dvd drive and still use the MS dash can't you? its the same thing when you do that with an alternate dashboard. talk to krayzie. he is the author of probably the best exploit you can use up to this date. you can see him around the forums and im 99% sure he knows the most in the softmod forum

Hehe. You give me way too much credit there misterhoangdai. I didn't make any exploits. I just used an existing exploit in an installer.
You can probably find much more in depth info on www.xbox-linux.org

because you don't have an alternate bios or dashboard and your retail bios is loaded which will make it go back to the MS dash

there is an reset on eject memory flag set right adfter a game loads. This cannot be unset by changing the bios. There are just a few xbes that don't set the roe flag.

There are just a few discs that don't set the roe flag (like mtv music mixer or similar karaoke like discs) but they have been researched allready for flaws. I think MS fills up the gaps in any games by default nowadays although being MS a few could always slip. However any game that sets the ROE flag would be not that worthy since we allready have three.

Well since I am no experienced hacker I can't help you with that. Again more in depth info about such things can be found at the xbox linux site. Normall games always set the ROE flag (otherwise the xbox wouldn't reset when ejecting). Only the few discs that are suposed to not reset like the music mixer programs don't set the roe flag since the game needs to be active and not resetting when opening the tray (which is intended to change discs mid-program).
