Ok I think I did something REALLY stupid. Anyone seen this before?
I have 2 Xboxes:
1 GREEN xbox I modded using the mechassault savegame exploit to install UDE 2 and run the evoX dash. It has a 120G maxtor HDD. I never take this online.
1 BLACK xbox that has no chip, no mods, and the original HDD which I use for LIVE play.
A few days ago I bought the N.A. Phantom Dust to play on LIVE. I had been playing the import version on my modded GREEN box for a while. I didn't want to replay through all 114 missions again to build an online arsenal. So I tried to transfer the savegame from my GREEN box to my BLACK box through the normal method(memory cards). It didn't work the designers didn't want you to share savegames because they want each player to build his own arsenal.
Here's the really stupid part :jester: I decide to FTP the savegame to my BLACK box. I used the mechassault exploit and ran UDE 2 installer on my BLACK box then transfered the savegame with FTP. Then I ran the UDE 2 uninstaller and deleted the mechassault save game. I rebooted my BLACK box and started up the Phantom Dust game, and it worked. I'm so smart B) . So I played a couple of single player games saved and tried to join LIVE.
You guessed it I'm banned. :o I tried deleteing the savegame but that didn't work. So now what do I do? Is there anyway to erase all traces that you have used a softmod before going on LIVE? Can I ever unban the BLACK box?
Here are my x,y,z codes for those interested in that:
x: 0000-F001
y: 00A8-6869 - This I think is the bad part I read that if y starts with a 6 your banned
z: 8015-190D
Hope this helps someone else. And if you have any ideas to help me out I would appreciate it. I would hate to buy another box for LIVE play and lose my Gamertag.

You could always FTP in and remove the exploit files. Or if your hdd is locked and you have a dash exploit installed, just run Slayer's stock rebuild option. It will erase everything though including existing gamesaves and soundtracks. If you want to get unbanned, you'll need a new eeprom and chances are another, unlocked hdd that hasn't been on XBL.
