OK, nm, i figured out what was going on.

Now, when i press a for the Check Points thingy, nothing happens.

Is it instantanious, or is something screwy happen? or does it take a while

I think he means the actual save you put on your hdd..  There are gamesave packages specifically for PAL or NTSC..  
Is your copy exploitable?
Basically what should happen you load SC, select Start Game, select linux profile, select checkpoints, then basically instantly the xbe in the save should be on your screen..

And of course, after better research, i believe i will be switching to UDE2, it sounds like it may solve a number of my issues i am havin.

If anyone has done this mod, do they recommend it, and what cons are faced with it?

UXE and UDE2 are basically the same thing...UXE is just an updated version that works on all kernels and all regions.  You could download an autoinstaller for splintercell (krayzie's installer will install UXE with EVOX, and waffletools uses UXE and Unleashx). either that or you could use UXE Complete and FTP the files over (just follow the directions. good luck

I have been searching for UXE complete for a long while, but i can never seem to find it.

Thats why im going with UDE2

New problem, now that i got myself into unleashX, how come when i try to copy the eeprom, it just kinda sticks with the Orange LED, I waited for about 5 minutes, then rebooted, and ftp'd and it didnt have the backup_linux in the e:/ drive

Anyone?

I am trying backing up again, but.... still havin a little trouble it seems

for anyone having any problems with softmoding use Softmod Installer Deluxe, can be found at the usual place, back up, then go to install sofmod, then install evox or unleasedX, have used this on 1.0 - 1.6b with NO problems at all!! very nice GUI installer

Finally got most of everything working, i just ended up using that config thing to download my eeprom off  the hard drive.

Anyway, just to check, and of course beat to death.

TO play Xbox live on UnleashX, all i have to do is put the Game in, turn the console off, then turn it back on.

This should bypass the unleashx dashboard, and allow me ban free xbox live gaming. Correct?
