Title: Brand New Xbox With Ltools 1.75

Kernel is 1.00.5838.01
Dashboard is 1.00.5960.01

im trying to run ltools 1.75 on brand new xbox , it works but when i try to install ude2 it just freezes at the install screen, the black linux install screen.
do i need ltools 8 or what?
im using the m8 bios and pbl metoo
ive used this version of ltools on another new xbox and it worked but it was like 3 or 4 months ago, i think xbox came out with a new version to stop the hacks... if someone with experience could help me please do so

um some help would be great for all the quiet people, just tell me how to mod a brand new xbox without a modchip pleezzz

You need to do a uxe exploit. Search for that in this topic thread or the xbe exploits thread, you will find it.

ok i found the uxe page, dont know how to use the fonts and patches, they are in zip format so  what do i do with them? i have ltools 1.75 on my cpu, so how do i combine the packages with the ltools? or can i even do it with 1.75?

I modded a v1.6 (week 38 2004) xbox using the itools 1.75 exploit for SC.  i installed UDE 2, Pbl Metoo, and Evox M8 bios and it worked fine. only thing is make sure you dont use xbox live with this mod because with the newer box you will still get banned. hope this helps

OK finally got the Ltools 1.7 loaded onto teh box ...now when i go to play a burned game i get an error 21.....ANY HELP???

i had the same problem jverse, u have to go to the mxm.xml file and change it from dhcp FALSE to dhcp TRUE, so u will get the same ip every time.



As for the error 21 problem, i found that if u put the game in before, then turn on xbox with game already in drive it loads no problem, you cant load dvds from the dash some reason with ltools 1.75, atleast for me so try that   JVERSE

mmm dvds work fine from evox's launch dvd menu..... I have done about 25 xboxes (mostly 1.6) with ltools 1.7.5.... and never had any problems... Just never used mxm though...
