So my uncle softmodded his brand new xbox he just got, i walked him through, he lives 3000 miles away so of course i wasn't there to mod it...Anyway, the game that came with it, Top Spin/ NCAA 2005 does not boot, no way no how...He gets error 21 from cold boot with disc in the tray already, from when he loads to evox, or even from msdash..he said his other original games play, and he made a copy of one of em and it works, all his apps and stuff work...just that 1 game, what's the deal on this?
He used mechassault Ltools 1.7.5.

Had the same problem, Has to do with xbox live trying to update the dash or something.. Just a wild guess

ok so it's not just him, krayzie got anything on this? I mean is there a way to fix it, is it the bios, is it the bios loader, etc...?

Double pack games from MS, need access to the REAL untouch
fonts on your C: drive, which of course after softmodding are no
longer there. As such the game will CRASH with a ERROR 21.

i was thinking about that too, im sure its setup similar to a loader screen which runs their xbe files..
could we dismantle in craxtion somehow and split into its own iso's??

but from what i can gather the games are still normal ISO type deal in a Multi Game loader type deal, but hey untill i check i dunno
After i baught Rallisport 2, Sega GT seemed bland

you could easily split them and burn them separately. or even burn them together using another multi game menu. Or just install nkpactcher with the virtual C drive and don't reburn them cuz then they will work without erroring 21.

I don't know about the Tom clany pack, but the top spin/NCAA disc is not set up like a normal 2 game disk. It doesn't appear the games are split into their own folders. There is more than 1 default.xbe in the root. I found this strange, and there were 3 folders something like aix, air, and some other one. This is all from memory, so I may be incorrect, but someone who has the disc take a look at it. Kinda interesting M$ has these discs look for the original fonts folder, but not any others. If they did that would cause error 21 on all softmods. They might find that entertaining for a minute until everyone uses the shadow c. Nevertheless, I'm sure it's funny to them to see the people that get the new bundles, softmod, then think they made a mistake somewhere when they put that game in.
