Well, I just did it. I used Slayer's Evox to install a new 250GB drive, and while playing Halo, I hit both triggers, back, and start, and BAM! I'm at Evox Main Menu 5-7 secs later.
Just thought I'd let those know that care to read this thread. There has been a lot of "YES" and "NO" feedback about this chip and IGR. Well, it does. The BIOS doesn't have it, and I haven't flashed it for one that does because the Apple BIOS is so DAMN steady. But, the Evox IGR does work with the AppleX V, a nice $20 chip that does everything I want it to do. <
