I decided to create a poll because of the mixed feedback about this subject. Last week a friend of mine purchased both Splinter Cell and 007 Agent Under Fire, both of which suffer the gamesave exploit. I own a copy of 007 Agent Under Fire Platinum Hits that does also.

If you have tried any of the above, please add to the poll your results. To be sure it's not your xbox live downloaded content causing the exploit not to work, delete the game's save data on your xbox before transferring over the gamesave exploit.

Are there 2 version of splinter cell? I always thought there was one. I do know one that is called Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow but that's obviously not the same as Splinter Cell.

*edit* anyway my copy of splinter cell does work and so is the classic edition of the 007 AUF. Still need to get MA in case I go around changing eeproms.

I don't know how to distinguish these two, that is. So the Pandora Tomorrow is the one that would not work.

Not only that, there is no Splinter Cell PT Platinum Hits version

EDIT: Re-vote on the poll, I made the question more clear. It wasn't meant if the exploit  works at all, It was meant for Platinum Hits versions *only*

well there are actually 2 versions of splitner cell. one was patched later on down the road. i read on it here at X-S. the platinum hits 007 AUF works like a champ. ive used it probably 5 times. i also must say that the poll should be taken down. its pretty pointless seeing that you can only vote for 1 thing. what if u agree with 2 or 3 of the statements?  :huh:

I Have a version of splinter cell which says game of the year , HIghest Score Ever 9.6 from OXM. Is this the original version ?

I have the same version PhillyKid, I have successfully gotten the UDE installer to load through the gamesave on the hdd..  The only xbox that I've tested it on though is tsoped with 4981.   Does anybody know if a hacked bios would allow a gamesave to load through a patched copy of the game?

best way i heard is to read the etched numbers on the inner circle of the CD
i personally own mech assault
there are 2 versions:

• My Mechassault CD is "MS02301L L0"
which is the working number, that L0 at end doesnt matter

• the new one says "MS02308L" probaly some L1 or w/e at end...

thats my 2 cents...meybe someone should make a database of working CDs #s etc.... i woudlnt mind workign together a little database, could add photos people send etc

seems mechassault is the one that FOR SURE doesnt work with anything else.
i had a game of the year grom gamespot edition, but the sticker was on the plastic wrap saying GOTY, and not on the box, and it was an old green case, not a platnium edition

but the key is the numbers, which are on the inside

ill write a little guide to finding exploitabe cds soon once i get more info
