yes thats the right mechassault  (its the one i have so im guessing its right)

but your dash needs to be 4920 for the font exploit to work

can anyone else shed some light as to why I keep getting unable to <run linux>. i think its because of the extra mechassault save that is getting automatically loaded on its own. don't know how to stop my box from creating that save.  my kernal seems fine dash to high but i should be able to run the gamesave exploit still so i can get ftp access to downgrade my dash via slayers or something right?

That is the right Ver#
and the extra save game is normal
you must be missing somthing


make sure you delete any maps or mec that were downloaded from XBLive
they will KILL the hack !!!!!!!!!

that is the the only VER# thats works
did you buy that game new, if not someone could have swaped disk's
look at the disk, on the front it should have Part No. X08-82264
this is the one I use.....

Yes I have just purchased version Q0300023 and with Part No. X09-00060 EN.
It does not work with my gamesave. It worked fine with the version I hired from my local game store but I'll have to re-hire it to see what version it is. I know the owner so I may just ask to swap his copy for mine and be done with it.

did that guy get a final answer to his question, because i am haveing the same problem he is with the "cannot load <run linux>" error. i tried all the things he did but i get nothing please post sum answers and not links to tutorials because they dont answer the error i have.

Be sure and delete all downloaded LIVE content for MA. They patched it with the extra content. Otherwise, keep experimenting on versions.

the extra gamesave is 'mechwarrior' on my ma and it doesnt work i think coz of that............

Have you tried downgrading (using Slayers) than trying the exploit?
