I understand that MS will ban based on a different bios running. But, will they ban if they XBE you are running has a different signature than the MS sig? Just curious...

I'm not speaking of the xboxdash.xbe file, more specifically the default.xbe of a Live Game.

Then u would be running a backup.. which allows the modchip on, which results in a ban

A modchip doesn't have to be on to be running a backup nor do you need to be running a custom bios......

Nope, Live Ban discussion.

Just curious as to if a ban will occur upon connection with a Live Game with a signature not that of MS.

Ok.. I am still not sure what you aren't understanding. In order to run a game backup, something off the HD, etc. the modchip has to be enabled. There is no possible way to run those things without a modchip.

Thus, you can not run a backup without a modchip. And, if you do, Live will ban you.

There isn't? I believe it's what your not understanding. Let's say someone took the MechAssault Gamesave exploit and instead of booting to an installer of some sort booted a Live game with the Habibi signature. No Modchip/ No seperate Bios/ No Hacked Font's nor Audio... Therefore would this result in a ban?

That is an exploit. This Live board is not for such discussion.

Heh, my original question had nothing to do with exploits, you caused it to be an exploit discussion because you wouldn't understand what I was asking. Therefore why are you moving a Live question to the exploit forum?

You are asking about exploits. Habbi is an exploit. I turned it into an exploit discussion because you were asking about an exploit!  

Disregarding exploits, there is no possible way to boot a backup without a modchip. Why should we talk about something that can't happen? This is a techinal forum for the most part, not a hypopathical forum.

In other words, your Live forum is for Live and Modchip-Live discussion but no Exploit-Live discussion. Strange... Anyhow, I never necessarily asked about an exploit just the fact of there being a possible ban when a live-game with a seperate signature has been booted and in fact my question was never answered. Your the Live Mod so I would have figured you'd be the one to ask this type of question. If my question was not appropriate I sincerely apologize.

Yes you could do just that and it would work , would you get baned thats a good ?
