Title: Bad 007 Audio Font Exploit (xbox Keeps Resetting)

I just got a messed up XBOX off of my friend, it was a failed attempt at the audio font xploit. Only thing that happens when you turn it on is it goes to MS screen w/ big 'X'. Then keeps rebooting after that. What can I do to get this working?

I beleive the system is v1.0 or 1.1

No soldering was done in this attempt

Are you sure you used JUST the audio exploit? This seems more likely from the font exploit...

I cant really remember it was back in nov when we tried it. It could have been the font though..

if you let the clock reset and you dont have the original dash working then you are really screwed. even if your not using the font hack. it will give you an error and not even boot games

meerdorf: I will try but I dont think it will work... I tried booting games but just keeps resetting, MA will do no differnt I dont think.

saltyscott: It just keeps getting ready to go into the MS dash like I can see part of the little circle thing then bam restart, I dont get any errors or anything like that.
Anything else?

If you can't gain FTP access to the Xbox, you'll need to hotswap...

AND DONT HAVE THE AUDIO EXPLOIT with the FONT EXPLOIT cause you'l get an error 21 when trying to use your audio exploit..... \
I am a nice guy eh....and if the clock doesn't come up in say....4 minutes then power down your xbox for a minute then power up again and wait.

I will try this but I dont think the mod even worked the first time he tried this. after several tries of the "code" ya know where you insert the audio CD and hit the button combo to enter the code to get it to work? Well after several times of trying this he never got the mod to work so he just quit and it worked fine when he put in a game it would play but nothing else then after leaving it unplugged for a while it does this now..

Finally!! After out 15min. I get to the PHOENIX bios loader screen then it flashes and gives me:


"PRESS A NOW TO ENTER SELECTION MENU!
STOPPPING HERMES
LOADING ROM: P:\BIOSES\XBOXROM.BIN
ERROR OPENING BIOS FILE
APPLICATIOB DIED IN UNHAPPY MANOR. PRESS A TO REBOOT"

I press A and same thing happens
