Title: Evox Wont Run With Ma Exploit

I've been modding xbox for a while and been in the modding scene for a while so I'm no n00b but this is the first time I've attempted an exploit

ok I've followed this tutorial to a T

dumped the file to my Mega-X-Key and put it on my xbox (bone stock V1.2 if it matters)

run and old version of MA...

when I load the game I get the pheonix logo then the logo dissapears and I get a grey screen with a few white dots on the top and bottom
then the xbox resets and freeses on the "X" logo screen while I can hear the DVD drive reading (and it's frozen like this)

I tried again from scratch but got the same problem...

any help would be greatly appreciated

if you can get evox running you can check your kernal version I'm betting its 5530 and sadly for the moment PBL doesn't run on 5530

(the 5530 appeared after sept last year)

EDIT wait 1.2 that cannot be 5530 oh wait refurbs from M$ so I suppose no guarantees

EDIT EDIT do remember that tutorial is for Pheonix bios loader 1.3 and not 1.3.5
And it doesn't mension adding the EEPROMKey1_0 and EEPROMKey1_1 to the boot.cfg

I actually used all the old software versions mentioned in the tutorial... except for EVOX.. so yeah I actually did use pheonix 1.3

what I really want to do is flash my TSOP I really dont care how it gets done but this seemed the easiest to me.

so why not replace the PBL in that gamesave with evox (signed renamed etc)

D: 4920

seeing as I've owned a version 1.0 since they came out and never upgraded my dash I really dont know if these version will work or not.

will these version work?

Should be Default.xbe

EDIT it won't work if you have any live download content for MA on your xbox

I put a new save on my MXK but I'll have to wait a while before trying it (girlfriends watching a movie  rolleyes.gif )

Static the IP in evox ini make sure you get the subnets correct and don't set the Gateway IP to any of the IP's your using unless one of them is a gateway that is
