It doesn't contain the Evox .xbe file , so I can list it here, you just have to insert your own you get from the usual places, PS i have not yet tested the NTSC version as I only own the PAL version. It should work fine tho.

These are both around 10Kb each.
Ok, to make use of this (for both versions)
Unrar the file.
In the:
UDATA215855540000000000
the 000000000000 dir
insert your habibi signed evox file as install.xbe
there is a evox.ini file already in there.
You must make sure that this is the ONLY splinter cell savegame on your Xbox HDD, so either backup the other saves or delete them..
after this just copy the folders to your Udata folder on E Drive, or put them on your memory device and copy to your xbox hdd

They show up as splinter cell and Linux Installer in the ms dash
then start up splinter cell
Choose START GAME
Choose LINUX
Choose CHECK POINTS
if you have done it right, then evox will come up

why don t you try to insert pbl signed with habibi (and then will load evox...) instead of evox directly?

i couldn't get xbtool to work creating a bfm bios that would load evox from the savegame dir, if anyone else can get xbtool to work please would you tell me how

I think if u get xbtool from "the usual places" it comes with sum xtra filez -- bfm_2bl.img and bfm_remainder.img - also I think u hav 2 use either the debug ini or the bfm.ini that comes with it. (put it in ur config folder) - not 2 knowledgeable with xbtool but think this will work.

where exactly are you going wrong?
try this.
once you get the rar, unrar it
go in the Udata folder
you'll see 2 folders
21585554
5553000c
ok..
now, get a copy of evox's default.xbe file
get a hold of xbedump
run:
| CODE |
| xbedump default.xbe -habibi |
that'll sign it for habibi, ready to insert into the save
it will create a file, out.xbe, grab that and rename it to install.xbe
ok get that install.xbe you renamed and put it in the 000000000000 folder
(this 000000000000 folder is in the 21585554 folder)
you should then have in that 000000..folder:
evox.ini <- already there
install.xbe <- you just put this in
SaveImage.xbx
SaveMeta.xbx
once you have that in there, go back up a few folders to Udata.
now to put it on your memory card or xbox hdd
for mem card: use whatever method u use to put saves on there, just make sure you put both the 21585554 & 5553000c folders on the card.
for xbox hdd directly
ftp in, goto e:, goto udata, then grab your 21585554 & 5553000c dirs and chuck them in there, if you need to copy these to a memory card from there, load the ms dash, and choose the LinuxInstaller and Splinter Cell 'Linux' savegames and copy them to memory card
then start up splinter cell
Choose START GAME
Choose LINUX
Choose CHECK POINTS
and then evox should load!

This should work on every version of xbox, 1.0 to 1.5, the dash should not matter as this is a gamesave and works from the game, and the kernel versions should not matter either, unless of course you make it try to load phoenix from a 5530 or 5569 kerneled (word?) xbox, phoenix currently will not work on those.
But if you load evox directly, yes this should work on all versions.

I'd like to have a version of this that boots into a copy of Linux with the raincoat executable available (like the 007 TSOP-flash save game does). Anyone have any idea what would be involved in that? Alternatively, my friend has a v1.0 or v1.1 box, so I should be able to flash with EvoX - if I want to do that, can I just add a BIOS folder to the 000000000000 directory and stick it in there?

, then load the save games and it will boot directly to evox if you have evox as your default.xbe 
so no 4th menu in the dash unlike the mechinstaller or the catfish method...
