Hmm, if you matched up the color coded wires then all should be well.  Try deleting the drivers you downloaded and re-downloading them.  Make sure you unzip all files and not just one accidentally.  This all may seem obvious but you never know.

Ya I tryed all of this but no luck? Also there was a bare wire from both the usb and xbox cable side. I tryed connecting then and not connecting them both with no luck. So anyone know whats wrong here?

there is supposed to be an extra wire on the xbox controller side (its a yellow wire)

Ya I know there is but i didnt do anytin with it because I read your not supposed in the tutorial. So anyone know whats wrong here?

Are you sure it's detecting the controller or the memory card? Because the memory card uses a different driver. Try it without any memory card installed.

Either way, the controller driver doesn't really matter. You want to install the Action replay memory card driver any way. That's the important thing.

Indeed, the Xctrl driver is for installing the controller to be used in other games and emulators like it were another game pad.  If you just install the AR software it should work just fine if everything is connected correctly.

I installed the action replay software but when I plug my mem card into the controller action replay does not see a memory card. I have an interact memory card. Also when I plug my memory card into the controller windows does not detect a new device so do I need aditional drivers or what?

Where might one find the driver? The links in the tutorials are no longer any good?
