Are you guys new?

If you had spent even 10min reading thru the posts from the last few months then you would realize that you did EXACTLY what everyone warned ppl NOT TO DO.  I am sure there is some fix but I am not 100% positive.  I also have xbox live but after reading the like 1000 warnings on here about updating the dashboard I decided to take their advice and not try it.

But hey, thx for the laughs.  I enjoy when ppl who should not fuck with their boxes really learn the hard way.  

I am not trying to be an ass btw..it just amuses me to no end when ppl who dont have the proper knowledge or technical tools start playing with things like this before doing 110% research into it.

yes i have backups of all my original Xbox files

well...most of my files...but i can get some of the others from my friends with unmodded boxes

allright nevermind the key i really aint going in to it again i have been through this here before u need to get 007 agent under fire or mechassault and load the gamesave to evox then ftp to your xbox delete the c partition of your xbox the contents of it anyway and then upload the backup to it you will also need to put the audio hack in E:|tdata becouse the new dash over wrote the old file the file is in E:TDATAfffe0000music its called ST.DB the audio hack is the same name as this file so overwrite this file with the audio hack now you have restored your backup of C check you have a file called evoxdash.xbe in your C partition aswell as a xboxdash.xbe file and when you reboot your xbox it should be just fine again.

Ok...if i restore my Xbox back to the original dash by replace my C drive with a unupadated one. would i be able to download the new XBOX dash again from Xbox Live?

becasue i want to return my Xbox back to normal. without it being modded.

if you "have" to have xbox live on your xbox, just use an old live compatible game such as unreal championship. but you really shouldn't need it. and, you've been down the hard road once, why would you want to go back?
