if you have a fonts folder, then your xbox 4920 dash will use those fonts in there.  if by chance those files do not exist, then your xboxdash will look in the c:\ root for its fonts.  you should actually make a backup of your whole c:\ instead of just the fonts, but you do not even need to back up the ones on your C:\ if you are too lazy.  also, if you replaced your original xboxdash.xbe, then your xbox won't boot and it will spit an error out at you.
