Only if you want to flash the BIOS. You must solder it to make it flashable. It's much more risky then the font-hack. I would get a newer generation modchip and use that to flash my bios. That would be relatively safer, I guess.

i guess if i was to get a mod chip, i would just use the mod chip for a differnt bios. flashing the tsop is the same as flashing a mod chip correct?

funny how people say tsop flashing is dangerous or bad
or risky

meanwhile flashing your modchip is just as risky

thing is when u fuck up a modchip flash u buy a new mod... when u fuck up a tsop flash u buy a modchip to use instead of the tsop

kinda weird

u guys who say its bad are just pussies
