Title: Redundant Topic Perhaps, But I Need This Cleared..

So I've got a modded Xbox, and a few of my friends have regular models. Their machines are all the right model of Xbox, but one of them is a PSO person I play with. As far as the instructions sound, I can put the exploit on a memory card, put in 007, and install Evox, or whatever I like on his machine for him, but he'll need to use the exploit every time he wants to access any of it.
My concern is people have also been saying that you need to reflash the BIOS to use Live. Is that correct? If so, my friend isn't that technically inclined, so it might not be worth it.
