Title: Tsop V. 1.5 Manufactured 1/2/04 New St Chip

I just cracked open the newest box I've ever come across (manufacture date: 1/02/2004). It's gotta be a version 1.5. It has a focus chip, but not a winbond like I'm accustomed to seeing in newer boxes. It has an st tsop that I've never seen before. I tried flashing with the 007 evox and the 007 raincoat methods. But nothing works. It says flash not writeable  <_< . I'm guessing it's because the config file doesn't have the command line for that flash type. Does anyone know what that might be? Or has anyone done one of these yet with different results? Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks!

Did u get the Manufacturer ID from it.., or is it just FF FF?

Also what does the text on the chip say?

you need to insert another format=   into your .ini file to get the software to recognize the chip. i found it in the tutorials.

Try the MechEurasia method... to date, it can flash any TSOP.

I don't know about the 1.6 though, so far the only extracted BIOS appears to be a 1mb... don't understand why they'd go back to that though.   :blink:
