I tried to flash my bios and first time, it went ok, 2nd time I get troubles with my xbox. Now it make 2 short high sounds on starting up, and when its started, I don't see anything and have troubles with my discdrive. I even can't connect to it with ftp.
I have a movie (4,43MB, without sound) of starting up the xbox here.
Is there something I can do about is or do I have to buy a new xbox?

To help, we need more info, I can't watch your movie (but that probably doesn't matter [I hate craptime]). What version box do you have? What bios did you flash it with, and what size was it? How has your xbox been modded, I presume a tsop as you are asking in this forum?

Hey Terror mate i`ve posted a topic on this forum maybe you can help.....I got distracted and flashed my TSOP with the linux free bios is there a boot disk i can use ie ozxflash to flash my M7 bios back on......Giz a Hand mate..

I have an Executer 2 chip (I can have it wrong but I think I have this one).
My xbox was chipped by someone who did this.
Version of xbox, I'm not sure, but this stays on the back of the xbox:

It's about 14/15 months old, modded 12 months ago.
The bios I tryed was: EvoX D.6 EjectFix.bin, 256kb
This bios I tryed the first time: EvoxM7_ef.bin, 256kb, didn't gave errors.
When I was flashing the second time it look normal (I don't know much about flashing bios so I tried from the evox flash bios menu) and after it was done and says xbox is turning of put it on and that was the moment with the troubles.
When I place the evox disc or a game in de drive nothing happens.

2k, i'm having similar problems. my xbox frags twice when powering on, then on the third time it stays on but doesn't really do anything. if you time it right, about 5 seconds, hit eject and it'll boot from the tsop. i'm still trying to figure out why, but when i do i'll let u know.

I'll try the same. Maybe it works, let's hope it, because I don't have money for a new one right now.
5 secondes after the third time it starts up, so it completely starts up, or 5 seconds from the moment I press the on/off button?
You see red/green flashing led too I think?

ya, after it beeps and turns off twice, does yours turn on with a black screen with red and green flashing? roughly 5 seconds after that.

And what do I have to do after it? I still get the black screen etc.

after i hit eject it boots fromt the tsop with the bios i want. i think thats probably because i used a reset on eject version of the 4981 bios.

I heard a beepsound when it loads another bios but I still can't do anything and see no difference.
edit: it's repared, chip is replaced (don't know exact details of replacement or if it is the same or new chip) but he works. With secret function in on/off butten (start xbox with modchip on/off).
