Title: Boot From Tsop Frags Twice

i've flashed the tsop with x2 4981, but everytime i turn it on it beeps then frags twice, then if i hit the eject button it'll boot from the tsop.  anyone have any ideas?  i'll check and make sure theres no crap on the mobo shorting anything.  i've never heard of a tsop acting like this.  has anyone had similar experiences?

Are you using a mod chip as well? Could be conflicts (switch combos etc). Did you flash the right size bios according to your xbox version?

we just tried without the modchip and still it frags twice and then goes.  It seems to be only on the initial start up.

we flashed the tsop back to the retail 4034, and it boots fine from the tsop without fragging.  then we put the x2 bios back on, and it frags twice again then boots from tsop.  its does this with the evox m7 bios as well.  when we restart from within the dashboard, it boots fine.  only when powering on does it do this funny frag business.
