Hi im kinda of new wehn it comes to Xbox modding, and i have been searching for days now trying to find out how to flash my tsop BIOS!

I have a cheapo mod chip that runs off the internal BIOS in my box so in order to  install a new dashboard i need to flash it!!

If anyone can at least tell me where i should start i would really appreciate it.

And i have one of the first versions of xbox to be released so i thin its 1.1,

You say you have an cheapo modchip......which one?....and another thing.....If you have a modchip in it...it does not run of hte internal M$ bios.....thats the reason for the chip to bypass this.....more info plz

is its a 29-wire mod or an old lpc cheapmod?

Hmmm i am not to sure what kind it is, i think its just a generic one that lets me play DVD copys. Also i am not sure about the wires and stuff but i will open it up as soon as i get a chance and let you goes know.

I aprreciat all the help since this is new to me, lol if it were a computer i could have done it in a minute.
