Title: Error 21 When Trying To Boot Raincoat 007

I have a v1.4 or v1.5, every time I try to run AUF007 raincoat hack from load mission within the game. It goes immediately to ERROR 21 screen. I then updated Dashboard to 5659.

Tried to LOAD MISSION agian. Still Same thing happens ERROR 21.

Can someone get me out of this mess?

TSOP is ST brand.

You might have the new patched version of 007 agent under fire, my advice might be to try a different 007 disc, or try mechassault.

I tried them both.


older versions of each.

007 is not the Platinum.
And Mech Assault was not the new one bundled in the Canadain QUEST packs.

How are you getting the gamesave onto the xbox drive? Memcard?  If so, what kind of memory card?

I had the exact same problem and it turned out that my 3rd party memory card was dorking up the gamesave somehow.  I went and bought a M$ memcard and it worked perfectly.  Didn't change anything about the gamesave or do anything different, just used a different memory card.

I responded as well to your other post in different topic.  I don't know about unknown memory card but, your not running it from the memory card, are you?  Just make sure it's erased and formatted and load the gamesave to mc and then load it from mc to xbox hd through msdashboard.. load 007.. load game.. from hard disk and should load..

I cannot see on how to format my mem. card.

Do I do this by going to my M$ dashboard > Memory card > Select the mem. card .....then what do I do to format it?

I am using a "Hip Gear" Memory card.

Are these bad to use?


My retail version of AUF 007 works fine aswell as I just flashed a v1.1, with no problems, after trying to do this terrible v1.5.  :blink:

((I used xlinux 1.2c hot swap to get the game save on the HDD))

If I change the bios.bin from 1meg to a 256k bios.bin, can I use xLinux 1.2c on a v1.5 xbox?

I was refering to using the Xbox Action Replay.  It has an option to format the memory card.  I've heard some people have troubles with aftermarkets and some don't.  All and all, a memory card is a memory card.  I understand they can change a little or not have certain fuctions that may exist but, this is just a simple swap procedure.  Just d/l the action replay and try using that..  I use rain with m7 bios for all my xbox's from 1.0 on up and works flawlessly.  Takes me about 10 minutes from start to finish..
