feel free to try it, but it won't work. Cheapmods boot off the lpc bus - when you boot off that bus, you disable the regular bus ( that your tsop is on) - you can "hot swap" cheapmods because they are on the same bus. You can't switch busses after booting with a cheapmod.

doesn't the Phoenix BIOS Loader allow you to flash your TSOP? If so, that would be a simple way to do it. and even easier than that, you could always use the 007 exploit evox dash, which is super-easy if you're already modded or have access to a modded box and a memcard. This definitely works, and no removing of phoenix stuff afterward necessary.
I tried doing this too, booting from matrix chip and then removing and flashing TSOP, to no avail. didn't really know why it wouldn't work, thought my soldering was bad. but it's a real piece of cake to just use a tried and true method like 007, it succeeded and showed me my soldering was at least adequate.
