Title: Using 4 Bioses On 1.0's Tsop
Post by: A.Z.BEST on August 07, 2003, 09:35:00 AM
wink.gif. You need SDTP switches - something like on that picture. If you want to use 3 bioses on TSOP you need to have 3-way switch on A18 point. Nothing simpler than just wiring it up and having fun smile.gif. Tested only on 1.0 Xbox with ST TSOP. I used M$ Paint to make that pic. Thanks to all interested in TSOP splitting smile.gif. You get that combination of bioses when switching switches in positions:
A19 on, A18 on - 1st 256kb bank
A19 on, A18 off - 2nd 256kb bank
A19 off, A18 on - 3rd 256kb bank
A19 off, A18 off - 4th 256kb bank

If I did something wrong - correct me, please.

You only need Xbtool to modify bios to boot, for example, C:/mxmdash/default.xbe. You can use X2 4977 bios and modify it that way.

I want to have 5558 debug bios, and modify it to boot  C:/ddash/xshell.xbe file. The problem is... where to get that damned bios? :/ Xbtool is uncapable to modify 4627 debug bios which I've got sad.gif.

I'm gonna store debug bios, retail bios, and Linux bios on my TSOP. My Cheapmod has a X2 4977 bios. Does a man need anything more (except VGA bios tongue.gif) - how do you think? biggrin.gif

And... it's nice to hear a praise wink.gif. Thanks guys smile.gif.
