# ./raincoat -p bios.bin
raincoat Flasher 0.5 Apr 14 2003 [email protected] http://xbox-linux.sf.net
Reading /etc/raincoat.conf... (unable to open /etc/raincoat.conf, using default
list)
UNKNOWN DEVICE Read Only??? manf=0x09, dev=0x00
Try adding the device ID to /etc/raincoat.conf
#
also..I have put raincoat.conf in the etc dir i made one, and i have it in the folder with raincoat, and ive added the values into the conf.. help!!

What type of tsop do you have? Because you've updated the raincoat.conf, it means that your points aren't bridged correctly if you keep getting the unknown device message.

That's the standard ID reply from all bioses when the write enable jumpers are not correctly set.
Please check your soldering.
