You cant have even opened the BIOS first. Open the BIOS first, THEN change colours and stuff. Then make sure you save.

I don't believe you can begin with an already-modded BIOS.  XBTool wants an unmodified (i.e. no color/LED/config mods) X2 or EvoX BIOS image.

correct, you can only use purely stock bios. like d.6 or 4977. you cant use premodded ones.

No, it now works with modded BIOSes.
