should be fine.. just make sure the ms dash and it's normal components are in place, also make sure the hdd is locked.
other than that it's gravy, i've succesfully done 17 machines with the 007 trick.. 15 of em were 1.1's

ok i locked the original hdd and put the necessary files on C: and E:.  Then i got the balls to do this damn mod and solder the jumpers.  I jacked up the soldering though and now i can't even see the 2 jumpers that i am supposed to solder together, as the solder mistakenly got removed.  Now i just see black PCB where my jumpers once were.  I plugged the box back in and it still works fine but i still want to complete this 007 mod.  If i carefully scrape away at the PCB i think i may be able to expose the circuit beneath the PCB but maybe not.  Not really sure what to do here.  Any suggestions?

I even tried to lay down a big old rectangle of solder where the jumpers were but the solder wouldn't stick to the damn PCB.  How the heck are you people soldering these ridiculously small jumpers?

The Matrix will do a Ver 1.0 box, but NOT the 1.1 the 1.1 was modified by Miccysoft to circumvent that trick. The 007 AUF mod does work like a charm though.
