Title: 24k Os Gone

i put a 24k in my friens xbox and now it will only load the retail bois. the chip lights up red so i know its comming from the chip(i think i set retail to red). the OS wont load either is their anyway to reload the os or add bios to the chip. I already tried to get the OS from their website but it wouldn't load. can somebody help me

I'm really not the best (As I can't get my mod working) ... but I've read a crap load ... I think you would have to set your chip to Recovery mode and have a burt copy of the recovery disc in the disc drive ...

I'm no expert but try powering on by pressing eject. Do you maybe have the standard MS dash assigned as quick boot. I think pressing eject to power on boots the xenium operating system by default.

do what is stated above^^^ and make sure your DO is connected. also perform a recovery if nothing else works

i'm pretty sure that the retail bios are set to quick boot but hitting eject does nothing the os wont boot from the chip and the xbox flashes red and green(no bios) when i put the chip in recovery mode. I guess i'll have to get another chip

when you first install the chip nothing is set up. you have to manually set up the retail and hacked bioses. if it goes straight to the retail before the OS comes up check your dO connection. make sure it is set securely and it is in the right hole.  if that doesnt work, then do a cold boot recovery.

not on this chip.

does your xbox boot without the chip in?

again check all connections, perform recovery from disc.

you have to get the recovery things from team xodus' site and burn them to a disk. Then have the recovery mode swith flipped and boot from the cd
