Title: Transfer Files From Usb Flash - How?
Post by: scenery on November 04, 2006, 06:36:00 AM
I am running a Xenium Gold in V 1.6 xbox. I am trying to transfer files from a USB flash (pen drive type thing) using the Xenium USB adapter, but am running into problems. The Xenium can see the USB drive, because I was able to load in a bios from there, using the Xenium OS. But I don't think there is a general purpose file transfer utility in Xenium OS, (right?). So far, I have tried boxplorer and a Commander type of program on the xbox, and neither was able to show me the USB drive directory. Is there a different program that can do both - transfer files/directories and also can see the Xenium adapter for USB drives?

thanks

XOS is the Only program I am aware of that has support for the USB thum drive. It is not capible of actualy transfering files/to and from the xbox, the only ability is has is the BIOS flash support.

Your best bet would be to Use an auto installer, or FTP the necessary files.
